General Information

Pula is the largest city in Istria County and the eighth-largest city in Croatia. Even though Pazin is
the administrative center of the County, Pula is the largest settlement and economic, financial and educational
center of the region. The city itself has the population of 57,460 residents, while it is estimated that a wider
Pula area has above 100 thousand inhabitants.

The climate in Pula is humid subtropical (Köppen climate classification: Cfa), very pleasant, with mild
summers and gentle winters with the average air temperature 23 °C during August and the lowest
averaging 5 °C in January.
